Montini Catholic - Financial Aid

The President's Office handles the allocation of funds available. Below is basic information relating to the Diocese of Joliet Grants and the Montini Catholic Grants. Montini Catholic encourages anyone in need of financial aid to apply for need-based grants. No student will ever be denied the opportunity to apply. See below for financial aid and scholarships provided by Montini Catholic High School and oustide agencies.

Montini Catholic Financial Aid Grants

Grant applications can be obtained from the Office of the President after the January Placement Examination. The application needs to be completed & returned by April 16, 2013 along with a copy of the applicant's 2012 Federal Tax Return and W-2. Email requests to rriccio@montini.org or jsegredo@montini.org. There is no application fee. The students of families who are awarded a Montini Catholic financial aid grant must maintain a 2.0 GPA. Students must be in good discipline and attendance standing with the school in order to be considered for the following year. Families must re-apply each year.

Diocese of Joliet Financial Aid Grant
Applications are also available in January by written request through the Office of the President. Families must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Application and return to the FACTS Company. This grant is applicable only to those families who are registered parishioners of a Joliet Diocese Parish. Families may also apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com. The deadline is March 1, 2013. There is an application fee of $25.00.

SPACE (Schools Promoting & Assisting Catholic Educators Program)
Montini Catholic offers a tuition credit for children of faculty members from participating Catholic grade schools. A letter stating full-time employment from the respective Pastor or Principal of the school is required. Please contact the Business Office for a list of participating grade schools.

*Montini Catholic High School recommends that if you feel you need financial aid assistance, you should inquire with your parish or local business associates/members to determine if they provide any scholarships or financial aid grants for high school students. Such as, but not limited to: Lions Club, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, etc.
