Fall Play
Montini Catholic's Fall Play, "May the Farce Be With You" by David Rogers, was performed on
Friday November 2, 2012 at 7:30pm, Saturday November 3, 2012 at 7:30pm,
and Sunday November 4, 2012 at 2:00pm.
Acrobatman, Albatross, H20 Girl, Astarte, Tapeman, Miss Invisowrap, Electroman, Gadzooks are only a few of the odd-balls in this cosmic comedy farce.
They are all members of the Elite Idealistic Earth Individuals Organization, commonly called the E.I.E.I.O
Their annual conference is held at a health spa called O. MacDonald's Farm but it's attacked by invaders from the evil planet Inferna.
Star Raider, the intergalactic villain, has discovered the secret of the E.I.E.I.O.'s strength - they all seem to be some insignificant Earth Person until they change their clothes and become super heroes!
Spring Musical
The 2013 Spring Musical is "Anything Goes" will be performed on Friday March 8, 2013 at 7:30pm, Saturday March 9, 2013 at 7:30pm and Sunday March 10, 2013 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $7.00 each. Please e-mail Mrs. Gina Gasbarre at ggasbarre@montini.org to purchase tickets.
The S.S. American, sailing from New York to England, carries an unusual group of passengers. Included amongst them are a gangster (Moonface Martin), a wealthy debutante and her mother (Hope and Evangeline Harcourt), a nightclub singer (Reno Sweeny), and a wealthy New York businessman and his stowaway assistant (Elisha Witney and Billy Crocker). It turns out that Hope is Billy's long-lost love. Unfortunately, she is now engaged to a wealthy Englishman, Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. After a series of comedic happenings, Billy manages to win back Hope. Meanwhile, Billy's friend, Reno, manages to seduce and win Lord Evelyn. All this happens while Moonface Martin attempts to escape the law and Hope's mother strives to maintain her social status.
Montini's drama teacher Dr. Diann Matheson will direct the musical and will be assisted, behind the scenes, by many skilled students.
