Dear Family and Friends of
Montini Catholic,
Student enrollment is 694, near our capacity of 700. This year's freshman class is 183 students, the fourth year of 180 or greater. The addition of the new Academic and Administration Center, the recent renovations to the school campus, including this summer's renovation of Duffy Memorial Stadium, through the “Celebrate Our Future…Building
On Success” Capital Campaign are now being enjoyed and well-used. The success we continue to have in our
academic and extra-curricular programs, generates a great deal of excitement
and enthusiasm throughout all the members of our school community for the
2011-2012 school year.
The Montini Catholic
school community has certainly been blessed with a great deal of good fortune
over the past several years. This good fortune has been due to the outstanding
dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff, the spirit and drive for
excellence that our students regularly display, and the support and generosity
provided by the members of our school community. Without these key ingredients,
Montini Catholic would not be in the position it is in today.
The challenge we now face
as a school community is to continue to move the school’s mission forward. We need to continue to:
- provide our students the very best
instruction, and challenging academic programs and, up to date
instructional equipment and facilities;
- provide opportunities for our students to grow
in their faith and learn and discover through service-learning programs;
- provide an affordable tuition for all our
families, as well as provide tuition assistance to those families who
demonstrate significant financial need;
- provide our faculty and staff a fair and just
salary and benefits program;
- provide all our students with well-rounded,
well-equipped and well-staffed extra-curricular offerings.
In order to maintain and
grow the Lasallian educational mission of our school, a mission that is
committed to provide all students with an excellent Catholic college
preparatory education and experience, I need your support to the Montini
Catholic Development Programs. The Annual Appeal, Scholarship Support, Vendor Programs, and the Special Events that are sponsored through the Montini Catholic Development Office helps us bridge the gap between tuition revenues and the actual cost of educating our
students. That gap is now $1300 per student.
Please give strong
consideration to how you can help us to bridge this $1300 gap by either making a gift to the Montini Catholic Annual Appeal, a donation to the Scholarship Fund, participation in our Vendor Program, or a donation/participation in one one of our Special Events (Wine Tasting Gala, Spring Fling Auction, Poker Tournament) will help us bridge the $1300 gap. Each gift, regardless the amount is greatly appreciated. No gift is too
small and each and every member of the Montini Catholic student body benefits
from your donation.
Thank you for your
consideration and our support to the Montini Catholic High School, and “May
Jesus Live In Our Hearts…Forever”.
Sincerely,
James F. Segredo
President
