Our founder, St. John Baptist De La Salle, realized the greatest gift one can give to children is a quality, well-rounded education. Each year Montini Catholic relies on the generous support of its alumni, parents, parents of alumni and friends to raise the necessary funds to help the school offset the cost of its Financial Aid Scholarship Program. This year your support is greatly needed as the school received a record number financial aid scholarship applications. Your gift, no matter the amount, will truly make a difference in the life of a Montini Catholic student. “May Jesus Live In Your Hearts…Forever”

Many young Montini Catholic Alumni would like to help a young man or woman receive a Montini Catholic education. Some feel that, at this early stage of their career, they cannot make a donation large enough to make a difference, but that a group of alumni and friends, each contributing an amount comfortable for their budgets, could make a difference. With social media avenues, a group of alumni and friends can connect and form a giving circle that will provide a significant donation to the Montini Catholic Scholarship Fund and truly help a young man or woman attend Montini Catholic.
The Montini Catholic Giving Circle Program is designed to reach out to Montini Catholic Alumni, utilizing social media, to request that they join a group of Montini Catholic alumni and friends that will commit to making a donation to Montini Catholic as part of a specific Giving Circle that will help make it possible for one young man or woman to attend Montini Catholic. The program also gives donors a face and a personal touch to the donation as donors will know the name of the student benefiting from the giving circle and will receive communication from the student semi-annually during the school year.
We are asking each Giving Circle to make a minimum one year commitment to the student, but would hope that Giving Circles would consider following their student throughout four years. The students recommended to Giving Circles will be students from the present freshmen and sophomore classes who have applied for, and are receiving, financial aid for the 2012-13 school year.
However, the Giving Circle participants cannot single out a specific student. It should also be noted that all students receiving financial aid scholarships must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average, be in good standing with the dean’s office, and must have a satisfactory attendance rate.
