Montini Catholic High School Students Earn Scholarships to
the University of Missouri
Montini Catholic High School congratulated seniors, Alexandra Briggs and Jay Disis on earning their academic scholarships to the University of Missouri. Alex and Jay both earned the Mark Twain Non-Residential Scholarship to the University of Missouri.
The University of Missouri (also known as Mizzou), educates future leaders in nearly every discipline, conducts research that improves our health and quality of life, and partners with Missourians to put that knowledge to work every day. The five major areas which the University excels, known as the Mizzou Advantage, are Food for the Future, Managing Innovation, Media of the Future, One Health/One Medicine, and Sustainable Energy.
Alex Briggs is a high honor senior from Naperville. She is a member of the Girls Basketball Team, the Cross Country Team, the Volleyball Team, and the Girls' Track and Field Team. Alex is the President of the Student Government, a Student Ambassador of the school, and a member of the Students for Life.
Jay Disis is a high honor senior from Lombard. He is a member of the Boys Golf Team, the Boys Cross Country Team, the Spanish Club, Math Team, and the Student Government at Montini Catholic. Jay is a member of the National Honor Society.
