The Physical Education Department believes that there are two ways an individual can stay healthy and fit. One way is to find and continue participation in a physical activity that he or she enjoys. The other is to understand the relationships of internal and external stimuli on the body. With this in mind, the Physical Education instructors emphasize lifelong physical activities and positive health behaviors. The student will be given a working knowledge of the rules, skills, and strategies needed to perform and understand the activities. They will also be given information and direction for making positive choices about their health.  The following courses are offered in the Physical Education Department
