Broncos Host Successful Volley for a Cure Event

Under the leadership of the team members, and with the assistance of dedicated parents and friends, Montini Catholic's Bronco Volleyball Team held its annual Volley for a Cure on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 vs. Glenbard West.  Bronco families and friends have earned close to $8,500 for breast cancer research in the last four years by dedicating one game per season to this most worthwhile cause.

Team members and their mothers sold baked goods, t-shirts, split the pot tickets and other goodies before and during the games in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor, Janelle Hail. NBCF continues to grow every year to help more and more women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and providing free mammograms to women in need.
Grade school attendees were also invited to enjoy the festivities free of charge and enjoyed 'walking tacos' and other fun give-a-ways!
After a grueling first match, in the end, Montini's Broncos were victorious over Glenbard West's Hilltoppers!  24-26, 25-11, 25-19.
