New Varsity Volleyball Coach Announced



Montini Catholic is proud to announce the addition of Patricia Samolinski to their award winning coaching staff.  She has been selected as the new Head Coach of the Lady Broncos Varsity Volleyball Team.  

Samolinski is the Director of Lions West Volleyball Club and Co-Director of First Alliance Volleyball Training Facility in Westmont.  She is the West Fall League Director for the club's youth program and Head Coach of their 16 Black team.   Samolinski is the Marketing and Fundraising Director of the club where she directs all tournament activities as well.

Prior to becoming a Bronco, Samolinski was Varsity Assistant Coach for the 2019 season at St. Francis High School (Wheaton).  She was JV Head Coach in the 2018 season (finishing with an impressive record of 31-1) as well as Assistant to Varsity during that same season when the Spartans celebrated regional and sectional championships.

Prior to her time with the Spartans, Samolinski was Varsity Assistant Coach at Glenbard West High School (2015-2018) and Freshman Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Nazareth Academy (2013-2014).
Samolinski holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Illinois State University (Normal, IL).

"Patricia will bring a great deal of coaching and instructional volleyball experience to the Bronco court," said Tom Lentine, Athletic Director at Montini Catholic.  "We are very excited about the future of our volleyball program with Patricia at the helm."
