Montini Catholic's auditorium was alive with music and song as students paid tribute to 'Musicals' at their annual Fall Concert on Wednesday, October 10th.  Proud parents, faculty and friends were treated to a special evening of tunes from musical classics during the much anticipated kick off to the fall season.  The concert is an annual celebration featuring the talents of the school's music students led by Montini Catholic's new Music Director, Mr. Donald Glowinski.

The evening began with an energetic rendition of the National Anthem, sung by Montini's Chamber Choir.  From there the audience was entertained by musical vignettes featuring the Freshman Concert Choir, Varsity Singers, Chamber Choir, Treble Makers, Acafellas and Concert and Symphonic Bands.

The group's next show will be their much anticipated Christmas themed concert in December followed by a Christmas Concert tour when they will perform for various grade school students across the Joliet diocese.

Mr. Glowinski  is enjoying his 1st year as Music Director at Montini Catholic and has been involved in Catholic education his entire life. He attended Millikin University, where he earned his B.M. in Music Performance and Music Business and DePaul University where he earned his M.M.  in Woodwind Performance. Before becoming the Music Director at Montini, Donnie taught for 5 years at Scecina Memorial High School in Indianapolis and 2 years at St. Patrick High School in Chicago.
