Students Have the 'Time of Their Lives'

Montini Catholic students are reveling in the memories made during a unique and exciting Turnabout Week (held the week of February 18 through the 22nd).  This year's theme - 'Turn It Back Turnabout' had them rolling back the clock to celebrate 'the good ole days.'  The kids were busy creating decor and props while raiding their parents'/grandparents' closets for theme related fashions.   "Tuesday was 60s Day and Thursday was 70s themed," said Montini's Director of Student Government, Ms. Megan Steiner.  "Each class was designated an era to represent on Friday - so they came dressed for their decade."  (Freshmen, 50s; Sophomores, 00's; Juniors, 90s, and Seniors, 80s). During lunch periods, students enjoyed karaoke and trivia contests.  Ms. Steiner and her Student Government representatives also hosted a Hall Decorating Contest between the grades with the seniors taking the prize for the best decorated hallway.  It was the sophomores, however, who pulled out a huge upset during the pep assembly 'dance off' between the classes.

Montini Catholic's Turnabout Week ended with the Turnabout Dance held at the school on Saturday, February 22nd.
