Montini Catholic is proud to recognize their students receiving Student of the Month accolades for November. "Each month we recognize those students who make our school community a better place," said Activities Director and teacher, Andrew Weisenburger, who initiated the campaign honoring extraordinary students. "They truly represent and uphold our Lasallian values and traditions here at Montini." Faculty and staff members are given the opportunity to nominate the student they believe best deserves each monthly honor.
November honorees are:
Dominick Trippiedi - Freshman (St. Raphael School, Naperville) Written on his nomination form: "Dominick is an incredibly hard worker and always strives to be successful in his classes. He takes great pride in accomplishing his work and always participates. In group work, he serves as a leader to help his peers come to the best possible answers."
Joshua Tolefree - Sophomore (St. John's Lutheran School, LaGrange)"Joshua always comes to class prepared and ready to work. Joshua doesn’t only rely on his intelligence but he has a tremendous work ethic that shows in class. Joshua is also incredibly focused in class and shows his dedication to his work."
Amanda Rollag - Junior (Westchester Middle School, Westchester)"Amanda has been very proactive in student government. She helped collect money for the food drive, she works everyday on creating ornaments for the Junior class, and she always tries to get people involved with activities such as Adopt-a-Family."
Emmanuel Corpuz - Senior (Sacred Heart, Lombard)"Emmanuel performs in two musical ensembles, an after school ensemble, and serves as President of the Tri M Music Honor Society. He was also selected to perform, at the beginning of November, in the All District Honor Concert Band, with is the upper echelon of musicians in our district. He works tirelessly to ensure that people are taken care of and goes out of his way to make sure that we have the best performance we can."
