Each year, around 160 students become the newest Broncos by joining the Freshman class. Below you will find the steps to take to join us for the 2018-19 school year.
INCOMING FRESHMAN STUDENT INFORMATION
Incoming freshmen are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This test, along with grade school records and grade school teacher recommendations, help us place students accordingly within our curriculum. Since Montini Catholic is a comprehensive high school, each student's educational experience is unique to his/her academic strenghts and weaknesses.
To register for our Placement Exam, each student needs to complete our New Student Application and submit the $30 application fee.
TRANSFER STUDENT INFORMATION
Students already enrolled in another high school who would like to transfer to Montini Catholic are asked to submit a Transfer Student Packet.
The packet consists of:
- Transfer Application
- Release of Records
- Dean’s Report of Attendance
- Academic letter of recommendation (instructions included)
- Letter from the student as to why they want to transfer (instructions included)
Once this initial information is submitted to the Admissions Office, and we have received the necessary information from the student’s current high school, our Assistant Principal will be contacting you for a meeting prior to acceptance. Upon acceptance, a $185 registration fee will be required.
There is no financial aid offered to transfer students.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT INFORMATION
Our International Students come to us from China, Thailand, Vietnam and Korea. Montini Catholic partners exclusively with The Cambridge Institute for International Education (CIIE) located in Boston, Massachusetts. The Cambridge Institute guides international families through the admissions process, including interviewing students, as well as acquiring student visas, I-20s and insurance. They will also coordinate host families with the help of GP Homestay.
To apply for admission to Montini Catholic's International Student program, please contact The Cambridge Institute for International Education at www.thecambridgeinstitute.org.
