Students at Montini Catholic High School gathered this week to celebrate several Winter sports accomplishments and to received the long awaited voting results for their Winter Formal King and Queen.

Members of Montini's Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Teams were called forward to receive congratulations for their successful seasons. Montini's Lady Broncos entered center court with their 2nd Place Class 4A IHSA Trophy.

The Broncettes were next up as they were congratulated for their recent third place state finish.

And, finally, members of the Wrestling Team were called forward to celebrate their IHSA 3A State Championship finish this year! Four athletes were also Individual State Champions (Real Woods 132; Jake Stiles 145; Matt Ortiz 160; Peter Christensen 195)

Afterwards, Principal Maryann O'Neill announced this year's Winter Formal King and Queen. (The school celebrated Winter Formal Week on February 5th-9th. However, due to severe weather, and the cancellation of the school's annual dance, the king and crown had to wait for their crowning.)
