Montini Catholic's Music Department students entertained audiences for the last time this school year at their annual Spring Concert. It was a bittersweet evening for senior band and choir members as they performed for the last time on the Montini stage, on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Prior to the show, guests were invited to check out the school's annual art show exhibit featuring the works of Montini's art and photography students.

The concert directed by Mr. Belford Hernandez and Mr. Matthew Loeb, included performances by the Concert, Chamber and Freshman Choirs, Varsity Singers, Treble Makers, Acafellas and Concert and Symphonic Bands.

Montini's group, the Acafellas, brought down the house with their rendition of James Raitt's 'Caribbean Plaid.' Following up on their performance, the Symphonic Band continued the vibe with 'Sesame Street,' featuring senior, Jake Oostdyk on the flute.

One of the show's highlights each year involves the senior musicians stepping forward, saying their goodbyes and singing one last song together on stage. This year, a total of seventeen seniors bid their farewells.

Montini Catholic prides itself on its music program which fosters teamwork, leadership, performance, stage presence, and collaboration among students in music ensembles and in music courses. The Fine Arts Department produces four music concerts each school year.
