Baking Club!- Our last Baking Club meeting for the year will be Wed May 16th from 3-4pm in DeLaSalle Hall. If you would like to join us and bake some delicious sweets please turn in your $1 to Mrs. Davis by today after school.
Today Montini will be joining Willowbrook High School and Glenbard East High School in selling wrist bracelets to support the families of the survivors of the bonfire accident. Student bracelets are $3.00 and adult bracelets are $5.00.
Students interested in summer job opportunities can find information in the Main Office.
Reminder to Seniors - caps and gowns will be passed out this Wednesday. Students who have financial obligations or need to turn in materials to the music department, athletic department or the LRC will have their gowns withheld. Also students who have not complied with the community service requirement will have their cap and gown withheld.

On Saturday the Montini Track team Competed in the Chicago Catholic League Conference Championships. The Broncos braved the cold and wind at Loyola Academy and turned in some really impressive performances! The day started in the field where Jermari Harris and Max May tied for 6th in the Long Jump with a jump of 19 feet 11 inches. Freshman Tyler McLaurin placed 5th in the Discus breaking his own Freshman record with a throw of 119 feet and 4 inches. Jack Benedict also broke the 100 foot barrier in Discus. In the Shot Put Patrick Peters just barely missed placing in the Shot but threw a personal best 40 feet 9 inches. In the sprints the 4 by 100 meter relay team of Zack Olson, Nick Fedanzo, Johnny Palumbo and Jalen Slater placed 4th. The 4 by 200 meter relay team of Johnny Palumbo, Nick Fedanzo, Nick Orlando, Jalen Slater placed 3rd. Nick Fedanzo placed 3rd in the 100 meter dash. In the distance events Jake Mondschean broke 2 minutes in the 800 meter championships at Glenbard South where they will have a chance to qualify for the State Meet. Montini has qualified someone for the State Finals Every year since 2015.
Last Wednesday your High Flying Bronco Volleyball Team traveled to Illiana Christian. The Broncos have never beaten Illiana. That all changed last week. By scores of 25 to 22, 22 to 25 and 25 to 22, the Broncos improved their record to 15 and 5 with the Victory. The Broncos were led by Sophomores Myles Marcyniak, and Connor Lindemann, Juniors Mark Zheng, Mike Gergan and Abe Husmillo and Seniors Andrew Vogrin, Charlie Woods, Christian Navas, and Nate Lukasic. The Broncos will celebrate Senior Night on Wednesday vs Fenwick. (OPOKA-Volleyball)
Congratulations Lady Bronco Softball. On Friday the Broncos fought the wind and cold to grind out a 11-2 road victory against GCAC foe Fenwick. The Ladies had a quick turn around as Saturday was Senior Day against Rosary HS. The Beads struck quick and had an 8-0 lead in the 2nd inning. The Bronco Bats then came alive and in one of the most memorable Montini softball games ever, seniors Nikki Cuchran, Bri Clifton, Ally Dilday, Neena Franklin, Grace Shotts, and Samantha Ferruzza, helped score 22 unanswered runs and led the team to an improbable 22 to 9, slaughter rule victory. The Broncos are now 21 and 8 on the season, as they host State 4A powerhouse Downers Grove North today at home at 4:30. Bronco Softball Fever...Catch It!!!!
