Boys Cross Country Results. It was a good run for the Broncos at this past Saturday's ICCP Invitational. The Varsity team took 2nd out of 8 teams and the Open Race saw us finish in 3rd. The 5 guys responsible for our team score in the Open were--in this order--Fr. Tommy May, who finished in 6th, Fr. Lupe Herrmann (16th), Sr. David Leonard (25th), So. Jack Ricchetti (30th), and Sr. Michael Gillian (33rd).
The Varsity's finish was abetted by the hard fought runs of Ian Kwit (who took 4th), Drew Bolisay (13th), Nick Fisch (17th), Nathan Hoeflich (26th) and two freshmen--Ned Kalta (27th) and Mick Flannery (31st). Hats off to Sr. Jayden Gertsen, who won the whole thing in 16:41, finishing a whopping 22 seconds in front of the next competitor. Congratulations to all the boys who competed and good luck in two weeks at the Harvest Christian Classic. God bless you and God-speed.
