In additional to the personal attention given by our student counselors, students are assisted in the college and career search through our College Counseling Office. Students being their path during their freshmen year with an “Introduction to Montini Catholic” and “Establishing a Strong GPA” programs. During sophomore year, students begin to explore careers and majors. As students become upper classmen, the prepare for the ACT and SAT and begin their college search. Finally, during senior year, the college counseling office assists students in preparing their college and scholarship applications.
The College Counseling Office provides college planning sessions for students and parents, coordinates visits from colleges and universities, organizes and an annual college fair and assists the Alumni Office’s Lunch and Learn series for juniors and seniors.
Over four years, students have the advantage of a strong, step by step process, which provides crucial exposure to the college search and application process.
