Montini Catholic’s National Honor Society partnered with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois to host a successful blood drive on Wednesday, April 21, 2026. Faculty and students ages 16 and older were encouraged to donate, and thanks to the generosity of the school community, the goal of 45 pints was surpassed. NHS Moderator Kelly Davis expressed her appreciation for the dedication of all NHS volunteers and donors who made the event a success.

 

Members of Montini's National Honor Society are honored to take part in the blood drive every year, with many students donating while others volunteer to help ensure the drive's success.  

 

Versiti Blood Centers of Illinois serve patients and hospitals across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.  "We are proud that the generosity of our student donors has the power to make a life-saving difference for people throughout the Midwest," said Mrs. Davis.  "We were able to collect 46 units, which could save up to 138 lives!"

Montini Catholic is a Lasallian college preparatory high school located in Lombard, Illinois.
