The William Mueller Memorial Scholarship is presented in memory of William Mueller, a former Montini Catholic alumni parent and grandparent, as well as the former mayor of Lombard. This scholarship is awarded to a junior who has demonstrated an outstanding dedication and commitment to community service throughout their time at Montini Catholic. It recognizes a student who understands that service is not simply an obligation, but an expression of faith, compassion, and care for others. ​E​ach year the recipient is selected by ​members of Montini Catholic​'s Campus Ministry​ department.


​President Beirne stressed that what ​made Grace especially deserving of this recognition is the spirit behind her service. ​"She does not volunteer simply to fulfill a graduation requirement, but because she genuinely cares about others and desires to make a difference. Her faith is clearly reflected in her actions, and her commitment to serving others has become an important part of who she is as a member of the Montini Catholic community.​"
