Celebrating the Generations Who Made Us Who We Are!
MONTINI CATHOLIC CELEBRATES GRANDPARENTS AT A SPECIAL MASS
Montini Catholic was honored to welcome grandparents and special guests to campus for a special Grandparents Mass on Friday, September 12th. The Lasallian college preparatory high school hopes that this event will grow into a tradition to celebrate faith, family and the special bond between generations. The Mass, celebrated by Father Matt Nathan from St. Pius X Parish in Lombard, provided a meaningful opportunity for students to express gratitude for the love, wisdom and support their grandparents bring to their lives.
"Grandparents, your presence here means more than words can express," said Principal Chris Tiritilli. "You are the roots of our families, the keepers of our traditions, and the quiet heroes in our students’ lives. Your love, prayers and unwavering support help form the foundation on which our young people grow, not only in knowledge, but in faith and character. In our Lasallian tradition, we believe deeply in the importance of community, faith, and service. Today is a beautiful reminder that the formation of a young person is never the work of one person alone. It takes families, educators, mentors, and most certainly, grandparents."
The Mass was followed by a reception outdoors and allowed grandparents to enjoy time for photos and refreshments with their favorite Bronco(s).
