Montini Band Earns Accolades!

The students celebrate success at the State of the Art Catholic High School Band Competition
Montini Catholic’s talented band students proudly took the​ spotlight at the 2026 State of the Art Catholic High School Band Competition, held Saturday, February 21​st, at Marmion Academy. Earlier that week, on Thursday, February 19, faculty and staff enjoyed an exclusive preview performance, offering a first listen to the pieces the students prepared for competition.
 
​T​he students walked away with ​3​rd Place accolades in Class A ​and a rating of "Excellent."  They also​ earned Best ​Woodwind Section.​ 

​"The kids did amazing​,​" said Music Director Donnie Glowinski. "They showed up, ready to compete in a very competitive Class A​.​ I am very proud of the work that they did and the preparation that they put into the competition.  We received valuable feedback from the judges and know what we need to do to improve for next year's State of the Art Band Competition.​"
