Montini Catholic's Peer Ministry Team, led by Assistant Campus Minister and Theology Department Chair, Katie Miller, partnered with Lombard's Outreach House to provide much needed sweatshirts to local families. In one week's time, Broncos collected over 300 sweatshirts.
Lombard's Outreach House provides assistance to local individuals and families through their four programs: Food Pantry, First Things First (infant needs), Walk-In Assistance (emergency expenses) and Clothes Closet.
Montini is proud to partner with the Outreach House and the important work they do to support the local community. “Collecting more than 300 sweatshirts in just one week is a wonderful example of our Montini community coming together to make a difference," said Montini Principal Chris Tiritilli. "Our Lasallian mission calls us to serve others and recognize the needs of those around us. I’m proud of our Broncos for putting that mission into action and showing what it means to care for our neighbors.”
Next up for Montini students is their annual Adopt-a-Family drive to provide Christmas joy to families in need.
Montini Catholic is a Lasallian college preparatory high school located in Lombard, Illinois (DuPage County).
