Students Walk the Runway to Support Montini's San Miguel Scholarship Fund
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, Montini Catholic High School brought together parents, friends, and fashion enthusiasts to celebrate all things fall and fashion at its 42nd Annual Fashion Show, “Threads of Thanks,” held at The Westin Chicago Northwest in Itasca. The highly anticipated event has become a cherished Montini tradition, featuring students from the junior and senior classes modeling everything from trendy casual wear to elegant formal attire and dazzling evening gowns. Each year's show adds a special touch of nostalgia, as several alumni watch their own children take the runway.
More than just a celebration of fashion, the annual show supports Montini’s San Miguel Fund, which provides financial assistance to families seeking a Catholic, Lasallian education. Through this fund, countless students are given the opportunity to attend Montini Catholic who might not otherwise be able to do so. “Our mission for this show mirrors the vision of Montini’s founder, St. John Baptist de La Salle,” shared Principal Chris Tiritilli. “He was a man of compassion and foresight who believed every child deserves an exceptional education. This show helps us keep that mission alive and thriving.”
The festive show was co-chaired by Montini Catholic parents, Amy Carrigan, Jenny Evenson and Jamie Kunziar and featured a luncheon, pre-show vendor boutique and raffle opportunities before the students showcased their styles on the runway. "A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who gave their time, energy and talents to bring this event to life," said Amy Carrigan. "Your enthusiasm and joy made this afternoon shine. Because of your support, more students will be able to walk our halls, grow in faith and become part of the Montini Lasallian tradition."
This year's show featured fashions from Meredith Jaye (Wheaton, Burr Ridge, Glen Ellyn and Hinsdale), Jolie (Western Springs), Kie & Kate (Elmhurst), Tommy Bahama, PGA Superstore, Peaches (Chicago) and Emanuele Tuxedo Rentals (Morton Grove and Elmhurst).
