Three Wrestlers Celebrate 100 Career Wins!

M​ontini Catholic Wrestling ​c​ongratulates three standout ​wrestlers AJ Tack​ (senior from Lombard), Mikey Malizzio ​(​junior from Hanover Park) and Allen Woo (​j​unior from Wheaton) on earning their 100th career varsity victories recently.  AJ reached this milestone on 12/27/25 vs Barrington ​H​igh School, Mikey​ Malizzio on 12/29/25 vs West Aurora H​i​gh School and Allen​ Woo on 1/9/26 vs Lockport ​H​igh School.​ 

 

Montini Head Coach Sal Annoreno commented on this prestigious achievement:​  "Reaching the hundred career win total takes an enormous amount of hard work and dedication for any wrestler.  AJ, Mikey and Allen, have put in countless practice and workout hours during their careers, and have made a lasting impact on the Bronco Wrestling Program." 

Montini Wrestling most recently celebrated a 3rd Place finish at the Cheesehead Tournament (January 9-10, 2026) competing against 46 teams, representing ​t​hirteen states!​  Earning a first place finish (126 lb) was Bronco Bobby Ruscitti​ (junior from Elmhurst)​. Montini's Broncos finished the highest of any Illinois Team​.
