Students Combine Creativity with Service

Fun Tie-Dye Project Benefits Easterseals of Villa Park
MONTINI CATHOLIC STUDENTS COMBINE CREATIVITY AND SERVICE THROUGH TIE-DYE PROJECT BENEFITING EASTERSEALS

Creativity met compassion at Montini Catholic during their Catholic Schools Week activities when student volunteer artists used their creative skills to benefit Easterseals. The students created vibrant and fun tie-dyed t-shirts which were then delivered to the Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley location in Villa Park. The shirts will be worn by staff and volunteers at Easterseals in hopes that the bright colors and fun designs will brighten the days of their participants.

“This was a wonderful reminder that service can be fun," said Campus Minister Michael Blanchette, who delivered the final product to Easterseals on Friday, January 30th. "The students had a great time tie-dyeing together, and they loved knowing their creativity was helping others through Easterseals.”
