Tri-M Music Honor Society Announces Award Recipients
Congratulations to Eleni, Cameron, Miranda, Madalyn, Jonny and Michael!!
Montini Catholic Tri-M (Music Honor Society) members were honored on Sunday, May 3rd at the Lasallian college preparatory high school's annual Spring Music Concert.
Recognized for earning the Tri-M Graduation Medal were seniors Madalyn Aguilar, Cameron Fountain, Jonny Kosinski and Michael May. The recognition honors current serving Tri-M Executive Board members and/or members who have been in Tri-M for three or four years. "This medal symbolizes their dedication to Tri-M and their commitment to its mission of serving as inspiring participants, excelling academically, and striving to be leaders in music education and advocacy," said Music Director Donnie Glowinski.
The Tri-M Recognition of Excellence Award (selected by the Tri-M Executive Board and Chapter Advisor.) was awarded to senior Cameron Fountain, junior Eleni Bastas and junior Miranda Meier. "Its purpose is to recognize Tri-M members who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership, and dedication," explained Glowinski. "Not just to our organization, but to the mission of music education as a whole."
“These students have shared their musical gifts in ways that have truly inspired our school community," said Principal Chris Tiritilli. "Their hard work, discipline and passion for music have set them apart, and this recognition is a reflection of the tremendous example they have been for their peers.”
Montini Catholic is a Lasallian college preparatory high school located in Lombard, Illinois.
