From Broncos to Private First Class Marines!

We are so proud of Autumn, Michael and Adriana!
Montini Catholic High School honors three incredible Broncos, now Private First Class (PFC) Marines from our Class of 2025.

Michael Patacsil '25 (Alpha Company) and Autumn Schumerth '25 (Alpha Company) graduated from MCRD San Diego on May 8, 2026! Adriana Bahnik '25 (Golf Company) graduated from MCRD San Diego on May 22, 2026.

Autumn received a meritorious promotion to PFC (Private First Class) for performing far above expectations and standing out among her peers through exceptional leadership, discipline, work ethic and overall performance. She was also the 2nd highest shooter in her platoon achieving an Expert shooter.

Michael had an exceptional discipline during MCMAP training ( Marine Corps Martial Arts Program) due to his previous experience in Karate as 1st degree black belt.  He received his PFC (Private First Class) rank before going to bootcamp as a promotion for having completed 15 college credits during the summer of 2025.

Coincidentally, Autumn and Michael have attended the same schools since kindergarten and now serve together in the United States Marine Corps.

"Congratulations to these outstanding Broncos and citizens and thank you for your service!  We will keep Michael, Autumn and Adriana in our prayers as they continue their journey of service and leadership," said Principal Chris Tiritilli.  "We wish them God's blessings in the chapters ahead."

All three new marines are currently in the second phase of training (Marine Combat Training).

Montini Catholic is a Lasallian college preparatory high school located in Lombard, Illinois (DuPage County).
