Weiger Scholarship Fund

Throughout his battle with leukemia and TTP, Johnny displayed the "spirit of a champion" - showing great courage, fight and a deep commitment to his faith. The Broncos and the Montini Catholic community adopted the saying "Johnny Always Wins" - a saying that was displayed around Montini and the community in 2012 and continues to this day.

In memory of Johnny, a memorial scholarship fund was established that awards a four-year renewable scholarship to an incoming freshman who displays high moral character, a deep commitment to his/her faith and has achieved academic excellence at the grade school level.
