Grandparents Gather to Celebrate Faith, Family & Legacy

Montini Catholic welcomed close to 200 grandparents at our annual Grandparents Day Mass.
Montini Catholic was honored to welcome grandparents and special guests to campus for a special Grandparents Mass on Monday, September 21, 2026.  The Lasallian college preparatory high school celebrated their second year of welcoming their special guests to celebrate faith, family and the special bond between generations. The Mass, celebrated by Father Shaun Cieslik from St. Mary Gostyn Parish, provided a meaningful opportunity for students to express gratitude for the love, wisdom and support their grandparents bring to their lives.

"Grandparents hold a particularly special place in our Montini story," said President Kevin Beirne. "You are the keepers of family memories and traditions, a connection between generations, and a source of wisdom and perspective for your grandchildren. Just as importantly, through your love, encouragement, faith, and presence, you continue to help shape the stories they are writing today.  In so many ways, you are helping shape the next generation of Broncos."

The Mass was followed by a reception and allowed grandparents to enjoy time for photos and refreshments with their favorite Bronco(s).

Montini Catholic is a Lasallian college preparatory high school located in Lombard, Illinois (DuPage County).
