It was a great day to be a Bronco.

Several Montini Catholic Bronco students helped out at York Township in Lombard on Wednesday, November 15th. They boys, accompanied by Montini's Campus Minister Mike Blanchette, traveled to their neighbor's down the road to assist with the township's annual turkey (and 'fixings') give-away to their food pantry clients. Each year York Township (in conjunction with Northern Illinois Food Bank) gives away over 100 dinners to local families. Cars began lining up before the 1PM distribution and clients received curbside service when picking up their dinners.
According to their website, York Township operates an on-site, client choice Food Pantry for individuals and families in need. The pantry stores both perishable and non-perishable items. Pantry clients can use the pantry once a month.
