Montini Catholic is proud to announce several opportunities for prospective families to visit the campus and gather information to help them with their high school decision. 


Parents and students interested in learning about a Lasallian education at Montini Catholic are invited to join them for one or all of these informational events.   Registration is required (www.montini.org/openhouse).

Sunday, October 6th (10:30AM-12:30PM) AND Thursday, November 7th (5-7PM)


Meet Montini
Meet Montini sessions are informal and informational presentations (for parents only) by Montini's Administration and Admissions Teams. These events include a tour of the school while classes are in session. The first session will be held on Friday, September 20th (9-10:30AM), two additional opportunities are available: Thursday, October 24th and Thursday, November 14th (9-10:30AM).  To register, visit:

Shadow With Us
Parents may also
Schedule a Shadow Day for their student to shadow a current Montini student and 'be a Bronco' for a day. (Shadow Days are available Monday through Friday from 7:45AM - 2PM).


Placement Test
All prospective Broncos are encouraged to take the Placement Test at Montini Catholic on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 8AM; (Practice Test - Wednesday, December 4th at 7PM). Interested students may begin the registration process at
www.montini.org/incomingfreshmen. Montini Catholic offers Academic Scholarships to incoming freshmen taking their December Placement Exam. Students can earn up to $10,000 toward their high school education. Scholarships (ranging from $1,000 to $2,500) are based on a student's national ranking of the placement exam and are renewable for four years. Montini Catholic High School is a member of the Midwest District of the De LaSalle Christian Brothers, which includes three universities and fourteen high schools. It is a family-centered, co-educational, college preparatory high school, rooted in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ as emulated by St. John Baptist DeLaSalle. Programs challenge and encourage the spiritual, intellectual, personal, cultural, social and physical development of each student.

The school is enjoying its 59th year of Lasallian education, opening its doors in 1966. Montini Catholic has graduated close to 8,000 students, 99% of whom have gone on to college. All faiths as well as diverse ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds are welcomed members of the Montini Catholic family.

This month, Montini Catholic's Band is celebrating a National Champion (Class A) title in the National Catholic Band Association's national band competition. "We are incredibly proud," said the Lasallian college preparatory high school's Music Director Donnie Glowinski. "This is the first time in school history that Montini Catholic has earned this title." Each year, Catholic high schools from across the country are invited to submit performance recordings to be adjudicated by a panel of expert judges. "This prestigious honor is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our student musicians. Their commitment to excellence has brought great pride to our school community," added Glowinski. "Every year, we work on becoming better musicians, and every year, the band rises to the challenge. I am so unbelievably proud of the work this group has done this year and everything they have accomplished. I am really looking forward to the future to see what these students will be able to do!" In the summer of 1953 a small group of concerned band directors, led by Director of Bands Robert F. O’Brien, met on the campus of the University of Notre Dame to discuss the Catholic School Band, its particular problems, and what might be done to further its development. Fr. Theodore Hesburgh Notre Dame President, gave the welcome speech. Mr. O’Brien then proposed goals for the organization and the NCBA was born. Today, NCBA's office is located at Villanova University Office of Music Activities. The NCBA recognizes the value of music within the Catholic school community. Their mission is to establish high musical, educational and ethical standards in Catholic schools' band programs.
