Pillar of Faith

At Montini Catholic, the Pillar of Faith helps students deepen their relationship with God through two key experiences: yearly retreats and liturgical services.

Retreats provide students with time away from daily routines to reflect, pray, and strengthen their faith. Each student participates in a retreat every year—a meaningful tradition and a graduation requirement.

Liturgical services, including monthly all-school Masses and prayer services, bring our community together to worship, reflect, and grow in faith as one body in Christ.

Retreat Experiences by Grade

Freshman Year – A day focused on building community and connection with classmates, led by our Peer Ministry Team.

Sophomore Year – A day dedicated to exploring our broader community through large-group service activities and meaningful reflection.

Junior Year – An overnight retreat at the LaSalle Manor Retreat Center in Plano, offering time for spiritual growth and personal reflection.

Senior Year – A culminating experience for students to reflect on their faith journey and relationship with God as they prepare for life beyond high school. Seniors may choose between a three-day Kairos Retreat or a one-day retreat experience.

Liturgical Opportunities

Throughout the year, our school community gathers regularly to celebrate our faith through traditional all-school Masses and prayer services, led by local parish priests, our Peer Ministry Team, and student Eucharistic Ministers. Annual Liturgical Celebrations include:
